The Port Clinton High School Drama Club is presenting its student production of “The Wizard of Oz” at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, Saturday, Nov. 23 and 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24 at the PCHS Performing Arts Center.
Tickets will go on sale prior to the show in the PCHS Main Office or at the box office prior to each performance, $10 each.
In this adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s classic tale, Dorothy finds herself in the land of Oz, determined to return to Kansas. Her journey down the yellow brick road is filled with humor and adventure as she and her new friends travel to the Emerald City to meet the Great Oz. However, when Oz demands a steep price for her return home, a new and perilous adventure begins.
The PCHS cast includes: Dorothy, Lydia Roberts; Scarecrow, Quinn Felnbinger; Tinman, Evelyn Gibson; Lion, Aeryn Mackey; Oz, Kai Weit; the Wicked Witch of the West, Makenzee Jadwisiak; Witch of the North, Emma Rose Johnson; and Glinda, Gabrielle Heilmann.
Other cast members include: Guardian of the Gat, Keegan Lukac; Winged Monkey King, Gabe Depner; and ensemble members Alisha Allen, Aidan Burton, Maddison Calebrese, Emma Rose Johnson, Jacqueline Libben, Alexia Luzader, Audrey Messa, Lily Mincer, Jocelyn Rohde, Ella Schwable, Marissa Swanson and Gabriella Woerner.
Stage members include: Stage Manager, Emily Boykin; Stage Crew, Finnegan Astley, Gabriel Garza, Brooke-Lynn Lattimore, Tristan Minney, Aaliah Orosco and Evan Roberts; Light Crew, Camiah Baker, Corrine Baker, Lorelei Fall and Dylan Lukac; Sound, William Osborne.
