Since winning the election, he’s announced a slew of controversial Cabinet picks, each more outrageous than the last. After distancing himself from Project 2025 on the campaign trail, he has offered jobs to some of its contributors and borrowed initiatives from the conservative playbook like dismantling the Department of Education.

He also wants to use the military to deport millions of undocumented immigrants (who comprise 45% of agricultural workers, BTW, so good luck with those lower grocery prices). Overall, it’s pretty bleak.
