LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — The Lynchburg Police Department said a man is in the hospital with critical injuries after he was hit by a car while riding his bike.
LPD said on Sunday night a man was riding his bike at the intersection of 12th and Kemper Streets when he was hit by a car.

Police said they responded along with the Lynchburg Fire Department around 10:30 p.m.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene of the crash, LPD said, and the incident is under investigation with the Traffic Safety Unit.
