High school actors, photographers, dancers, singers, writers, visual artists, filmmakers and musicians are invited to apply for the Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain, Oklahoma’s one-of-a-kind arts education program.
Teaching artists from across the country travel to Quartz Mountain, where they provide advanced, collegiate-level training and mentorship to students in one of eight artistic disciplines: acting, chorus, creative writing, dance, drawing & painting, film & video, orchestra or photography. Its multidisciplinary structure sets the Institute apart, allowing students both intense study in their chosen discipline and exposure to unfamiliar art forms.
Every selected student to OSAI receives a scholarship to attend. The Oklahoma State Department of Education, Oklahoma Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts and numerous private foundations and individuals underwrite the program’s costs to ensure that OSAI is within reach for all of Oklahoma’s most talented young artists.
OSAI 2025 will take place June 14-29, 2025, at Quartz Mountain State Park & Lodge. Selections for the program will be based on the audition material submitted with the student’s online application. The application is open now through February 17th, 2025. To learn more about the eligibility requirements, application process, and audition requirements, please visit oaiquartz.org/OSAI.
