It was a busy Friday, Dec. 6, as two simultaneous art shows showing off the work of
students were held in neighboring buildings.
In the Webster University Kooyumjian Gallery, located on the second floor of the Sverdrup
Complex, the opening night of the annual Juried High School Photography Exhibit was
held. It showed off the works of area high school students. The gallery and hallways
were packed with students, their families and friends, and photo lovers from throughout
the region. The photos will remain on exhibit in the Gallery through Jan. 28.
Next door in the Visual Arts Studio, Webster DADAH first-year students displayed their
finest pieces of work created during the Fall semester and they also held an art sale
to raise money for various programs. The halls of the Studio were standing room only,
attracting Webster students and professors, family members and friends. The artwork
will continue to be on display through the end of the year.
