Gresham Chabad Center to celebrate Chanukah with public giant menorah lighting


An annual celebration about bringing light and community to those of Jewish faith is returning to East Multnomah County, and everyone is invited to join in the fun.

The Gresham Chabad Center is helming its annual public menorah lighting to celebrate Chanukah at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, at the Gresham Arts Plaza, 401. N.E. Second St. Assisted by the Center for the Arts Foundation, whom just successfully put on Gresham’s annual Christmas tree lighting, the free public gathering will be an evening filled with music, holiday treats, and activities for kids.
