BAR HARBOR — Community members volunteered their time to dress as shepherds, wise men and angels to resemble the biblical story of the birth of Jesus as the Bar Harbor Congregational Church hosted its annual Outdoor Nativity Scene on Friday.
“It’s an amazing expression of hope and peace in a very busy and unsettled time,” said Minister Rob Benson, adding, “It’s always been offered as a gift to the community and people seem to really enjoy pausing to embrace the spirit of Christmas.”
