Objectives of the Inter-School Debate:
- Raise awareness about the link between school violence, bullying (including cyberbullying), and mental health.
- Promote empathy and respect among students, educators, and parents.
- Provide practical tools and resources to combat bullying and cyberbullying.
- Contribute to the creation of safe and supportive school environments.
As we observe the International Day against Violence and Bullying at School, it is important to remember that promoting mental health and building safe and supportive environments is a collective effort. Through these debates, UNESCO aims to empower students and communities to work together towards a brighter, mentally healthier future. Together, we can create schools where every student feels safe, valued, and supported.
