WATCH: Stunning ice castles debut in Cripple Creek

Ice Castles are open in two Colorado locations just in time for Christmas.

A stunning look at the popular Ice Castles attraction in Cripple Creek, west of Colorado Springs, which opened just in time for Christmas. (Parker Seibold, The Gazette)


The popular attraction debuted in Cripple Creek on Thursday; a second location was set to open in Eagle on Friday.

It’s the first time in the company’s 13-year history that they have opened two Ice Castles locations in Colorado ahead of Christmas, Ice Castles CEO Kyle Standifird said. 

The frosty attraction features slides, ice sculptures, archways, and a “polar pub” bar serving alcoholic beverages.
