MARIETTA — Peoples Bank Theatre has installed a cutting-edge sound system, the JBL VTX-A8 and A6 Series, setting a new standard in audio quality for live performances.

The state-of-the-art system ensures an unparalleled listening experience for everyone in the audience, whether seated in the front row or the balcony.

As the theatre approaches its 10-year reopening anniversary and its 106th overall anniversary, this investment represents a significant milestone in its continued commitment to excellence in the performing arts.

According to JBL, an American audio equipment manufacturer, The VTX A-Series is, “the next-generation tour sound solution for mid- to large-size touring applications and high-end fixed installations. The series was designed from scratch to address not only audio performance, but the full scope of challenges faced by tour sound professionals, rental companies, FOH engineers and live production crews.”

“This new system is designed to equally disperse high-quality sound to every seat in the theatre, from the front row to the balcony,” said Todd Burge, talent buyer for Peoples Bank Theatre.

Brad Smith, technical director for the theatre, cited the transformative impact of the upgrade.
