Yaduveer champions environmental conservation

Mysuru: Mysore MP Yaduveer Wadiyar inaugurated the Overland Association of India‘s convention on Monday. During his address, he emphasised that environmental conservation is a collective responsibility.
“If there is any asset that we leave for future generations, it is the environment. A good environment helps in maintaining good health. So it is the responsibility of today’s youth to protect and preserve environment,” he said.
The convention, which drew participants from 24 Indian states, focussed on environmental protection initiatives. Association’s Raveen BV outlined their planned activities, including medical camps, distribution of essential supplies to forest-dwelling and nomadic communities, and programmes for women empowerment and educational awareness.
The event was attended by association vice-president Satyajit Sarkar, organiser Rohit, Meenakshi, Jagamohan Sethi, Indu Sethi, and other members.
