Scooter Braun Says He Is ‘No Longer Managing Myself’ in Light of Recent Artist Exits

Scooter Braun added a little bit of humor to the talk as Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato, two of his long-time clients, left.

On Tuesday, Braun made a funny post on X, which used to be called Twitter, “Breaking news… I’m no longer managing myself.”

This jokey comment came after sources told PEOPLE that Grande and Lovato had indeed broken up with Braun and his SB Projects company, putting an end to their years of working together.

Even with what had happened recently, Braun seemed to be in a good mood.

On the same day, he posted a picture on Instagram from his trip to Iceland.

The post was captioned with the Latin phrase “Carpe diem,” which means “seize the day.” It showed Braun and four friends going on a trip in a helicopter, showing how important it is to make the most of life’s moments.

In one beautiful shot from his trip to Iceland, Braun smiled big in front of a beautiful natural background, creating a peaceful moment.

In another funny photo, he repeated Arnold Schwarzenegger’s famous line from “Predator,” “Hurry, get to the chopper!” as he ran toward his waiting plane.

Sources in the music business who know about the situation have said that contract talks have been going on for a few months.

This change is happening at the same time that Braun’s job as CEO of HYBE America is growing, which shows that things may not be as they seem.
