Jude Law stars along Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz and Jack Black in “The Holiday,” a hit 2006 Christmas movie that may have been on your holiday watch list this year.
But there’s a chance New Orleanians have seen the movie star in real life over the past few weeks.
That’s because Law has been spotted in the Crescent City quite a few times around Christmas.
New Orleans portrait photographer Steve Rapport photographed the celebrity at the Orpheum Theater on Dec. 17. Law attended Christmas Without Tears, a concert that benefits Innocence Project New Orleans.
“Smashing bloke, even if he is a Spurs fan,” Rapport wrote on Instagram.
Law was also spotted at a Preservation Hall Foundation luncheon and was shopping at Martin’s Wine & Spirits in the Uptown neighborhood earlier this week, according to WGNO-TV.
It’s unclear how long Law will be in town or where he’s staying, or if his family is with him.
The 51-year-old British actor is from London and has starred in several hit movies including “Cold Mountain,” “Sherlock Holmes” and “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.”
He was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Dec. 12.
