Rochester, N.Y. — The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is looking for suspects who stole a car in Brighton and eventually crashed it on the Inner Loop overnight.

Deputies say they investigated some break-ins in Perinton and eventually that report of a stolen car in Brighton. That car was spotted in the Browncroft neighborhood around 12:45.

Deputies pursued the car but ended the chase for safety reasons.

Soon after 1 a.m., the car flipped and crashed on The Inner Loop in Rochester. The suspects had fled the scene before police arrived, so it’s unknown if anyone was hurt.
