Houston AutoBoative Show returns in 2025. Here’s what to know about it.

For the fourth year, the Houston Auto Show and Houston Boat Show are teaming up to create the ultimate Houston event for land and sea enthusiasts. 

The combined Houston AutoBoative Show has set the dates for the 2025 event. From Jan. 29 to Feb. 2, 2025, attendees at NRG Center will enjoy a showcase of vehicles, boats, test drives and outdoor activities for the price of one ticket.

What is it about? 

The Houston Auto Show is produced by the Houston Auto Dealers Association that represent franchised new car dealers across greater Houston.

This year marks the 42nd Houston Auto Show at NRG Park and the third year combined with the longstanding Houston Boat Show. The event showcases a diverse array of vehicles, from cutting-edge electric cars to powerful trucks and luxurious sedans.

Visitors can discover the latest innovations in the automotive and marine industries with a large selection of vehicles and boats on display.

“The show has something for everyone, from sleek sports cars and EVs to big trucks and luxurious boats. Guests will experience the thrills of test-driving vehicles and hundreds of vendors and indulge in many other attractions, like the first sighting of three space rovers from NASA,” according to a release about the event.

On land 

Guests can expect vehicles on display from Bentley, BMW, Bugatti, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Ineos, Infiniti, Jeep, Kia, Lexus, Lincoln, Lotus, Mazda, Nissan, Rolls Royce, Subaru, Toyota and Volkswagen.

Houston Auto Show is sponsored by Evolve Houston, which will once again provide the opportunity to test drive the latest electric vehicles during their outdoor ride and drive.

On water 

Water seekers, expect to see the finest vessels, fishing gear and marine technology from big names such as Blackjack, Cobalt, Freedom, Frontier, Majek, Moomba, Nautique, Sea Hunt, Sea Ray, Supra, Starcraft, Tidewater, Yamaha, Yellowfin and over 100 more vendors and dealers.

Boats are on sale during this event and product specialists and sales staff are available to answer any questions about boating.

Throughout the event, don’t miss live angling demonstrations at a 5,000-gallon fish tank stocked with live fish, a celebrity robot and a remote-controlled racecar track.

VIP pre-show event 

A special VIP event kicks off the show from 5 to 8 p.m. Jan. 28 on the NRG Center Auto Show Floor. It’s called “A Night at the Auto Museum” and offers pre-show, first-look access with light bites and drinks. 

The highlight will be the featured car collection of the late Tony Gullo Sr. Gullo died in July 2024. He was known as the patriarch of the Houston-area Gullo group of auto dealerships.

He also had a passion for cars and a heart for the children of Montgomery County hosting a large Christmas party for children each year. Over 300 luxury automobiles are represented in his collection. 

Tickets are $75 plus a $5 fee. Ticket includes access to preview the Houston Auto Show before it opens to the general public, appetizers, drinks, entertainment and valet parking.

How to go to the show

Tickets are on sale now through Dec. 31, for $15 each, and prices will increase after Dec. 31. Tickets at the door are $20 each.

Family packages go on sale at four tickets for $60 starting Jan. 1. Kids younger than 5 get in free.

Show hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Jan. 29-31; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 1 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 2.
