Foodees Foot & Culture Festival comes to Fort Walton Beach later this month


FORT WALTON BEACH — A three-day event filled with food, local arts and family fun is coming to Okaloosa County later this month.

From Jan. 31 to Feb. 2, the Foodees Food and Culture Festival tour will make its second stop in Northwest Florida at the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Fairgrounds, 1958 Lewis Turner Blvd., Fort Walton Beach.

“We are thrilled to bring the Foodees Food and Culture Festival to towns throughout the Southeast!” said Tricia Croft, owner of Foodees, LLC, in a news release. “This event is more than just a festival; it’s a celebration of our community’s culinary diversity and creative spirit. We invite everyone to join us for a weekend of fantastic food, unique crafts and endless fun.”

According to its website, Foodees Fest is described as the “number one touring food truck festival in the southeast.” The event in Fort Walton Beach is their second stop of the year, coming one week after a three-day stay in Pensacola at the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds from Jan. 24-26.

More than 50 food trucks are expected to participate. Also featured: handmade arts and crafts from local artists and the Foodees Fun Park, which will offer 10 “massive” inflatables, games, face painting, interactive exhibits and karaoke.

The festival will be held 1-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31 and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 1 and 2.
