Nasdaq leads losses as stocks react to December jobs data


 

The Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) leads losses for the major averages Friday morning as equities react to December’s jobs data, which saw an addition of 256,000 nonfarm payroll jobs, exceeding forecasts for 156,000. All three of the major averages opened the trading day in negative territory.
