SM Entertainment is releasing a commemorative album entitled “2025 SM Town: The Culture, The Future” on Feb. 14 to celebrate its 30th anniversary, the company said Tuesday. This release comes two years and two months after the last SM Town album, “2022 Winter SM Town: SMCU Palace,” was released in in December 2022.

The new album includes 17 tracks, headlined “Thank You,” a group anthem performed by SM artists. The tracklist also features remakes of legendary K-pop hits from the company’s history, reinterpreted to reflect the unique styles of the current SM artists.

Additionally, Red Velvet revisited Girls’ Generation’s “Run Devil Run,” NCT 127 reworked Hyun Jin-young’s “You In Vague Memory,” and NCT Dream remade EXO’s “Love Me Right.” WayV performed SHINee’s “Juliette,” aespa delivered their version of f(x)’s “Rum Pum Pum Pum,” and Riize covered TVXQ’s “Hug.” NCT Wish contributed a rendition of Super Junior’s “Miracle,” while Naevis reinterpreted BoA’s “Game.”

SM’s subsidiary labels also contributed to the album. ScreaM Records reimagined SHINee’s “View” with their dance music touch and SM Classics transformed BoA’s “My Name” with a classical and jazz-inspired arrangement.

Promotions for the album began on Jan. 8 with the pre-release of Riize’s version of “Hug.” During the “SM Town Live 2025” concert in Seoul, on Saturday and Sunday, the company revealed the music video for the main track “Thank You” and performed several album tracks for the first time.
