McLaren might not be the biggest player in the supercar field, but its lineup of modern and highly powerful cars is sure to catch the eye of automotive enthusiasts. The British company is bringing three of its current models at the 2025 Montreal Auto Show, including the new GTS Grand Tourer.
Here are a few details about these exceptional cars:
GTS

Seen for the first time in Montreal, the GTS takes the stage on the McLaren stand as the brand’s newest and most useable supercar. As an evolution of the similar-looking GT of years past, the GTS continues in its predecessor’s role of being a Grand Tourer which is at ease both on the track and in city traffic. While no supercar is ever entirely practical for daily driving, the McLaren GTS aims to be as versatile as possible, combining impressive performance with a comfortable cabin and more cargo space than might be expected in this type of vehicle. The GTS is lighter and more powerful than the GT, its AMG-sourced 4.0L twin-turbo V8 delivering 626 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. This results in acceleration times of 3.2 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and 8.9 seconds from 0 to 200 km/h, with a top speed set at 326 km/h.
750S

More power and less weight is also the recipe employed by the 750S, which replaced the 720S in the McLaren lineup for the 2024 model year. Despite being a bit larger than the GTS, the 750S is the lightest production supercar ever developed by the British company, with a dry weight of only 2,815 pounds. It is also the most powerful, with 740 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque, courtesy of a mid-mounted twin-turbo 4.0L V8. Unsurprisingly, this makes the 750S the quickest of the three McLarens displayed in Montreal, with a 0 to 100 km/h chrono of only 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 332 km/h. If the lighter weight is in part due to a more functional interior, the 750S still has enough creature comforts to make driving on public roads enjoyable.
Artura

The Artura is the second McLaren to feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain, following in the footsteps of the highly exclusive P1 hypercar. Under the rear-mounted hood of the Artura stands a 3.0L V6 engine fitted with twin electrically actuated turbochargers, an electric motor, and a 7.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. While McLaren says the Artura can drive up to 33 kilometres on electricity alone, performance is clearly the focus of this powertrain. Indeed, a combined output of 691 horsepower and 531 lb-ft of torque can propel the electrified supercar to 100 km/h in 3 seconds flat, with a top speed of 330 km/h.
