The last time Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo vehicles were displayed at the Montreal Auto Show was in 2020.
-
The company marks its return with a complete lineup that features three electrics and six plug-in hybrids.

Stand-out models include the Charger Daytona, the Wagoneer S, the Ram RHO, and a two-door Wrangler Willys with a manual transmission.
The Montreal Auto Show is slowly but surely returning to its former glory, with many more manufacturers present for the 2025 edition than the two previous ones.
One of these returning companies is Stellantis, which showcases its entire lineup, with only a few exceptions.
Since the Covid 19 pandemic forced the cancellation of both the 2021 and 2022 editions of the Montreal Auto Show and Stellantis chose not to participate in 2023 and 2024, it has now been five years since visitors have been able to view Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo vehicles up close.
In fact, this absence has been so long that Stellantis hadn’t even been created yet and FCA was still the corporate name of the company selling these brands in North America.
Fortunately, 2025 is a good year for Stellantis to return to the auto show, since the French-Italian-American consortium has a lot of new models to display, including its first three new-generation EVs.
Fiat

One of these electric vehicles is the new Fiat 500e, which also happens to be the most affordable EV in Canada, with a starting price of $42,190 before government incentives. In addition to an unmistakable retro-inspired design, the 500e offers a fairly complete list of standard or available features and a range of up to 227 kilometres, which is sufficient for a vehicle that is expected to be used mostly in the city.
Chrysler

The Chrysler brand has been languishing for many years, and with the demise of the old 300 sedan, only the Pacifica minivan (and its more affordable Grand Caravan counterpart) is left to hold the fort. Stellantis has chosen to bring a Pacifica PHEV, probably to remind visitors that even almost nine years later, it is still the only one to offer a plug-in minivan on our market. By combining a V6 engine and an electric system, the Pacifica Hybrid boasts an all-electric range of 51 kilometres and an average fuel consumption of about 8.0 L/100 km once the battery is depleted.
Dodge

Things are more exciting over at Dodge, as the brand is welcoming a brand-new generation of the Charger this year, which will be introduced as an electric 2-door model before versions with four-doors or a Hurricane six-cylinder engine under hood are added in the coming months. Built on the STLA Large platform, the Charger Daytona, as this EV is called, is not a small car by any means, its overall length besting the Jeep Grand Cherokee L by 44 millimetres. To ensure a level of performance worthy of the Charger name, Dodge has fitted this model with two electric motors that feed off of a 100.5 kWh battery. This results in up to 670 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque in the Charger Daytona Scat Pack when using the momentary PowerShot feature, making it possible to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 96 km/h) in only 3.3 seconds. The tamer but still powerful RT model can also boast a range of 496 kilometres according to the EPA.
Also representing Dodge in the Stellantis booth are the Durango SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet, one of the company’s last V8-powered products, as well as the Hornet RT PHEV, the plug-in version of its Alfa Romeo-based compact crossover.
Jeep

Jeep is also presenting its first electric vehicle to be offered in North America at the Montreal Auto Show, with the Wagoneer S being part of the brand’s displayed lineup. Built on the same basic architecture as the electric Dodge Charger, this five-seater SUV also benefits from a 100.5 kWh battery which should give it “over 483 kilometres” of range on a charge, according to the manufacturer. If comfort and performance are the main priorities of the Wagoneer S, which can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, all-terrain capabilities have not been forgotten either, with a Selec-Terrain traction management system coming standard.
Of course, those who want to venture further off-road might want to choose a more rugged Jeep model like the Wrangler, of which three are present at the Auto Show. Two of these are equipped with the 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain, one being a commemorative Willys ’41 edition and the other a Rubicon X. The third Wrangler is a two-door Willys equipped with a manual transmission.
Other Jeep models on display are the Compass Sport, the Gladiator Rubicon X, the Canada-only Grand Cherokee 4xe Altitude PHEV, and the Grand Wagoneer Series III.
Ram

While its first electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles are not present at the 2025 Montreal Auto Show, RAM still has something new to offer. Indeed, the brand refreshed both its 1500 and Heavy Duty pickup lines for the new model year, bringing cosmetic and mechanical changes. The main event is the replacement of the 5,7L Hemi V8 engine with the new Hurricane turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine in the 1500 models, but the Heavy-Duty versions also receive upgrades under the hood thanks to a modernized Cummins turbo diesel engine. On the show floor are the Ram 1500 Big Horn, RHO, and Tungsten, along with a 2500 Power Wagon.
Alfa Romeo

Rounding out the Stellantis brands sold in Canada is Alfa Romeo, which has only one model to show visitors in Montreal this year: the Tonale PHEV. This compact plug-in crossover offers up to 53 kilometres of electric range and an output of 285 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque, along with dynamic handling characteristics and modern tech features. A fully gasoline-powered version of the Tonale is also available, and so are the larger Stelvio SUV and Giulia sedan, but none of them can be seen in person at the Montreal Auto Show.
