Lamborghini Brings Four Models to the 2025 Montreal Auto Show, Including a Canadian First

Lamborghini is on a roll, with 2024 sales surpassing already record-breaking 2023 figures worldwide. Indeed, the Italian supercar maker sold 10,687 cars, a six percent increase over last year. In the Americas, the results are even slightly better, with 3,712 deliveries marking a 7% jump. The company attributes this success in part to its hybridized lineup, which it says is part of the most significant investment campaign in its history.

At the 2025 Montreal International Auto Show, Lamborghini is showcasing four models, one of which makes its first appearance on Canadian soil.

Urus SE Hybrid

This Canadian first presented at the 2025 Montreal Auto Show by Lamborghini is the Urus SE Hybrid, an electrified version of the brand’s most popular model. The Urus SE Hybrid combines a twin-turbo 4.0L V8 engine and a plug-in system that generates a combined output of 789 horsepower and 701 lb-ft of torque, which is good for a top speed of 312 km/h and a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 3.4 seconds. The 25,9 kWh battery also provides the SUV with an all-electric range of 56 kilometres, and Lamborghini claims the Urus SE PHEV achieves an 80% reduction in polluting emissions over the gasoline-only model.

Revuelto

Seen for the first time in Canada at last year’s Toronto Auto Show, the Revuelto is the successor to the long-running Aventador. Like its predecessor, this flagship supercar is powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine, but this time, the new 6,5L unit is paired with a plug-in hybrid system that includes a small 3,8 kWh lithium-ion battery and three electric motors. This combination results in a combined output of 1,001 horsepower and over 535 lb-ft of torque, along with an electric range of about 8 kilometres.

Paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, this powertrain gives the Revuelto a top speed of over 350 km/h and a 0 to 100 km/h sprint of only 2.5 seconds. This mechanical configuration also makes the Revuelto AWD, even when driving around in fully-electric mode. While its overall shape is similar to the Aventador, the Revuelto’s carbon fibre monocoque boasts more passenger space, making the supercar more comfortable than its predecessor.

Hurácan Sterrato

2025 could be the last time the Lamborghini Huracán is featured at the Montreal Auto Show since this “entry-level” supercar will soon be replaced by the new Temerario. Nevertheless, two versions of the Huracán can be found on the Lamborghini stand, starting with the Sterrato.

The Huracán Sterrato is the supercar for those who don’t want to limit themselves to the pavement. Inspired by rally cars, this model features a 44 mm suspension lift, a roof-mounted air intake, underbody protection plates, black wheel arches, and auxiliary LED projector lights. Behind the two seats, a 5.2L V10 engine powers the Huracán Sterrato to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and further to a top speed of 260 km/h, thanks to an output of 602 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive and a locking rear differential help transfer this power to the ground.

Huracán Tecnica

In addition to the Sterrato, the Huracán is represented in Montreal by the Tecnica, a supercar that balances track-focussed performance with daily usability. This model features a more powerful version of the V10 engine which delivers 631 horsepower and a more aerodynamic design. This results in an acceleration time of 3.2 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and a top speed of 325 km/h. Unlike the Sterrato, the Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica is powered exclusively via the rear wheels.
