GENEVA — The Musical Moments recital series at the Geneva Public Library will feature the Kate & Dave duo, along with special guests Stan Proffitt and Jo-Hannah Reynolds, at its next performance.

Their appearance is set for 7:30 Jan. 24. Admission is free.

Vocalist Kate Ferguson-Schmidl, a Geneva native, and guitarist Dave Kuykendall of Seneca Falls will be joined by pianists Proffitt and Reynolds performing songs in a variety of styles, including classical music, soft pop/rock, jazz, and blues.

Kate and Dave have performed together since the 1980s at clubs, restaurants, and special events. Proffitt, a Geneva resident, has performed his solo piano program for Musical Moments for several years; he will be featured in this season’s final Musical Moments concert May 9. Reynolds is a singer/songwriter, composer, author, and educator who teaches music and is the choir director in the Penn Yan school district.
