GORHAM — The Marcus Whitman Marching Wildcat Winterguard is hosting its annual “Artistry in Motion” winterguard show Jan. 18. It’s presented by the Marcus Whitman Band & Guard Boosters.
Doors at Marcus Whitman High School open at 5 p.m., and the event kicks off at 6 p.m.
The winterguard will compete alongside eight other groups from across Upstate New York, including the WGI-finalist Gates Chili Independent Winterguard. Marcus Whitman will premiere its 2025 production, “Tightrope,” performed to the titular song from “The Greatest Showman.” The show is centered around the theme of finding strength in working together.
Following performances, the second annual Brady Rouse Memorial Award will be presented to a longtime supporter of the Marching Arts at Marcus Whitman.
General admission is $10, or $8 for students and senior citizens.
