Us Weekly says that Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are back together after rekindling their “brief” relationship from years ago.
Since last week, the singer of Lavender Haze and the lead singer of The 1975 have been sending each other cryptic texts and going on secret late-night dates.
Swift, 33, and Healy, 34, first made people think they were dating when Swift went to one of Healy’s shows in Los Angeles in November 2014. Later that month, Healy told Australia’s Shazam Top 20 on the radio that the two had “swapped phone numbers” at the show.
A source told Us Weekly that the two are “looking to give things a second chance.” They also said that the two “run in the same circle of friends” and are “having a good time reconnecting again.”
The source also said that Swift “really likes” the 34-year-old rocker and is “happy spending time with him.”
Also, a source told Entertainment Tonight, “Recently, Taylor and Matty have been hanging out, and Jack Antonoff is to thank for that.”
The rumors about her dating come just a few weeks after news reports revealed that she broke up with her boyfriend of six years, Joe Alwyn, last month. Swift’s Eras Tour has been taking her all over the country since mid-March.
The Sun said in early May that Taylor Swift is “madly in love” with her new boyfriend and won’t be keeping their relationship a secret.
Since then, Healy has been to two Swift’s Eras Tour shows in Nashville. He was seen in the VIP tent at the show, which was also attended by Swift’s close friends, Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge.
