Justin Bieber Cuts Out Scooter Braun from New Songs for the First Time in 16 Years

As Justin Bieber starts to work on new songs, he might be planting the seeds for a future split from Scooter Braun, who has been his manager for a long time.

People Magazine cites sources who say that the musician is “still managed” by Braun, but that he and the artist haven’t talked in almost a year.

There were rumors last week that the 29-year-old Peaches singer had broken up with Braun. But their representatives denied the charges. Braun signed Bieber when the music manager and executive saw him on YouTube when he was 13 years old.

Now, it has come to light that Bieber is working on new songs without his longtime manager by his side for the first time in 16 years.

“Justin’s been working on his new record for the last six months. Scooter and SB Projects have not set up one session or done one thing for this [new] record,” a source told the outlet. “The relationship with Scooter has run its course.”

Page Six had said before that, even though Bieber and Braun haven’t broken up, “there are issues” between them. A source said that the two have signed a new deal together, which may be why Braun is no longer involved in Bieber’s songs.

Braun, who is 42 years old, has been at odds with Taylor Swift for a long time because he bought all of her music that came out before 2017. Swift has had to re-record her songs because of this.

Also, it was revealed on Tuesday that Ariana Grande and Braun had broken up after 10 years. A day later, it came out that Demi Lovato had also broken up with the talent manager after four years of working together.
