First through eighth grade boys and girls have an opportunity next week to develop and refine their tennis skills for free.

The UC Davis men’s & women’s tennis teams in conjunction with Woodland’s Cello Tennis Academy will be offering free lessons for kids 6-14 on Nov. 6 & 8 from 5-6:30 p.m.

The lessons will be taught at the City Park tennis courts at 629 Cleveland Ave. in Woodland. The lessons are sponsored by the Junior Tennis Fund of Sacramento and the city of Woodland.
