Logos Books will feature the collage art of Carole Forest from Feb. 1 to 28 in the bookstore at 513 Second St. in downtown Davis.

After retiring as a psychotherapist, Forest started taking art classes and discovered collage. Its textures, bright colors and designs suited her artistic needs. Years ago, she wandered into the Hart Senior Center and discovered a poetry group. Forest found that when she created a collage that it often elicited a poem, or, a poem evoked a collage.
