Lucas, a K-pop star, will leave the groups NCT and WayV for good. His management, SM Entertainment, told the public on May 10 that he would be focusing on solo activities from now on.

After our deliberate discussion LUCAS,

we made a mutual decision to part ways with the group NCT and WayV to pursue his individual endeavors. We ask for your understanding and continued support as this was a decision taken after much consideration by both the members and all the fans who have supported us.

LUCAS is planning on showing his performances through a wide variety of individual works from now on.

Lucas had been on a break since 2021 when his ex-girlfriends accused him of being bad. Soon after, he posted an apology on his social media accounts. His agency has since indicated that he will no longer participate in group projects in light of his apologies.
