MISSOURI (KOAM) — For some people arts and sports might not seem to go hand-in-hand, but in the Show Me State, they work very well together.

According to Missouri law, when non-resident entertainers and athletes perform or play in the state, two percent of their funding is withheld and remit to the state.

That percentage then goes to fund certain areas such as the Missouri Arts Council.
