Assistant Director of the CMC Foundation, Harley Shelley, said it’s so important because the children are our future.

“For us to be able to partner with these schools and provide these snacks and to just come in and supplement food, nutrition, things for a family that may not be able to afford it, or looking at snacks versus a bill. It’s just a way for us to give back to a community that already does so much for us,” Shelley said.

The hospital’s health outreach team delivers the snacks to their four partner schools which include Conway, Homewood, Waccamaw and Midland Elementary Schools.
