Milan Fashion Week 2025: all you need to know


On Saturday, 18 January, from 11 a.m. to 7.30 p.m., ANDREA GROSSI presents ‘THE CASTING’, the invisible process behind the autumn/winter collection. The exhibition is an ode to the art of becoming through various immersive video installations.

From 18/12/2024 to 16/02/2025: ANDREA BRANZI. CIVILISATIONS WITHOUT JEWELS HAVE NEVER EXISTED. One year after his death, 10 Corso Como remembers the Italian architect and designer Andrea Branzi, winner of three Compassi d’Oro. His multifaceted talent is celebrated in the exhibition curated by Alessio de’ Navasques, conceived as a flow of works, documents, drawings, and photographs that accompany the visitor from the mid-1980s to his last creations, dated 2023. The exhibition is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., admission free.

From 21/01/2025 to 18/05/2025: GEORGE HOYNINGEN-HUENE | GLAMOUR AND AVANT-GARDE. Palazzo Reale is hosting an Italian premiere: an exhibition dedicated to George Hoyningen-Huene that, through more than 100 iconic shots with platinum prints, recounts the importance of the Russian fashion photographer in the history of photography. As a witness to the vibrant cultural context of the time, the artist was influenced by classical art and surrealism, frequenting the likes of Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso. The exhibition, curated by Susanna Brown, is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m., Thursday until 10.30 p.m., ticket required.

From 27/11/2024 to 09/02/2025: MARCELLO MALOBERTI. METAL PANIC. It is the most comprehensive exhibition dedicated to the visual artist Marcello Maloberti to celebrate his work. Curated by Diego Sileo, the exhibition brings together the main themes of his oeuvre, a selection of works from the 1990s, more recent ones, and new ones. The impression is that of being immersed in a contemporary construction site in continuous transformation, always beyond the immediacy of the everyday dimension. Hours: from 10:00 to 19:30, Thursday from 10:00 to 22:30, Monday closed.

From 31/10/2024 to 24/02/2025: MERIEM BENNANI. FOR MY BEST FAMILY. Miriam Bennani’s ambitious exhibition project combines a new site-specific installation with a film co-directed by Orian Barki. The aim is to explore ways of being together in socio-political contexts and to wonder where a person begins and ends. The project was conceived for Fondazione Prada on two levels: the Podium’s ground floor hosts’ Sole crushing’, a large mechanical installation; on the first floor, visitors can attend a film ‘For Aicha’ screening. The screenings start at 10:00, 11:15, 12:30, 13:45, 15:00, 16:15, 17:30.

From 31/10/2024 to 02/02/2025: MIRACOLI A MILANO. CARLO ORSI FOTOGRAFO. The exhibition narrates the personality of Milanese photographer Carlo Orsi through 140 black-and-white works that trace the themes dear to the artist from his beginnings. It presents four sections: one dedicated to Milan, one to portraits, one to his work for the world of fashion and advertising, and one to reportage. Curated by Giangiacomo Schiavi and Giorgio Terruzzi, consultancy by Silvana Beretta, organisation by Vertigo Syndrome. Some side events are also planned between November 2024 and January 2025. The exhibition is accessible upon purchase of a ticket. Hours: Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; closed Mondays. The ticket office closes one hour before.

From 10/10/2024 to 02/02/2025: UGO MULAS. L’OPERAZIONE FOTOGRAFICA. More than 250 images (many of them on public display for the first time), vintage shots, documents, books, and films accompany the visitor on a discovery of Ugo Mulas’ entire production, from theatre to fashion, to portraits of international artists and the great protagonists of the world of culture and entertainment. Curated by Denis Curti and Alberto Salvadori. Hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7.30 p.m., Thursday closing at 10.30 p.m., Monday closed. Last admission one hour before. Ticket purchase necessary.
