
The Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District (CSWCD), which includes Culpeper, Greene, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock counties, is hosting a Conservation Programs Workshop on March 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Madison Fire Hall in Madison, Va.
This program is targeted to owners and operators of agricultural and forested land in these counties wishing to better understand what the programs have to offer. The workshop will feature presentations by CSWCD, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, Virginia State University Small Farm Program, Virginia Outdoors Foundation, Piedmont Environmental Council and Virginia Working Landscapes. There also will be a panel of producers and landowners who have participated in the programs discussing their goals and experiences.
