Jiang Liu joined White & Case as a partner in its global debt finance practice, financial services regulatory practice, and global financial institutions industry group in New York, the firm announced on Thursday.

Liu advises global financial institutions and multinational corporations based in Asia-Pacific on US bank regulatory matters. His practice focuses on the Bank Holding Company Act, the Volcker Rule, data privacy, broker-dealer activities, CFIUS regulations, state money transmission services regulations, supervisory and enforcement matters, US bank and non-bank acquisitions, and the establishment of bank branches and representative offices in the US, the firm said.
