The musical, “The Wedding Singer,” opens Feb. 20 at the Valerie Theatre in downtown Inverness with a cast of 18 and five large production numbers, including singing and dancing. The Valerie Players are staging the production.
Robbie Hart is literally down in the dumps after his fiancée jilts him at the altar. Julia Sullivan, a waitress whom Robbie recently has met, rescues Robbie by pulling him out of the dumpster.
Can Robbie find true love or is he destined to grow ever more cynical as he observes couple after couple pledging their everlasting love to each other in his job as a professional wedding singer?
