SAN ANTONIO – News 4 and San Antonio Food Bank kicked off the annual Food 4 SA campaign on Wednesday.

We ask that you can help us collect one million pounds of food.

The San Antonio Food Bank provides food to an average of 105,000 individuals each and every week. Last year, more than 800,000 individuals across southwest Texas were helped by the San Antonio Food Bank.

Peanut butter is the number one requested item from households. You can take non-perishable food items and drop them in the red bins at H-E-B and Security Service Federal Credit Union locations.

Every dollar you donate provides 10 pounds of food to those in need.
