Toys for Tots collection drive in Louisville kicks off Nov. 1


DOESN’T JUMP BACK UP. WELL, W-L-K-Y IS ONCE AGAIN TEAMING UP WITH THE MARINE CORPS LEAGUE FOR ITS ANNUAL TOYS FOR TOTS COLLECTION DRIVE. THE 2023 CHALLENGE ACTUALLY KICKS OFF TODAY IN OUR MADISON ELLIOTT IS LIVE AT STOCKYARDS BANK AND TRUST IN ANCHORAGE WITH A LOOK AT HOW YOU CAN HELP THIS YEAR. MADISON 54 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS. WE DON’T WE DON’T HAVE A LOT OF TIME. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT I MEAN HALLOWEEN’S OVER AND ALREADY NOW WE’RE IN THAT HOLIDAY PUSH AND YOU CAN SEE IT HERE. ALL THE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS ARE UP AND WE CAN FEEL THE EXCITEMENT AND YOU CAN START BRINGING TOYS STARTING TODAY. SO SOON, THESE BOXES WILL BE FILLED UP WITH LOTS OF TOYS AND YOU CAN START BRINGING THEM. TODAY. WE TALKED ABOUT HOW WE’RE ALREADY READY FOR CHRISTMAS. LOOK AT THIS. THE DECORATIONS ARE UP. SO WE’RE REALLY FOCUSING ON THE OLDER, THE OLDER CHILDREN, THINGS LIKE BOOKS, ARTS AND CRAFTS, ELECTRONICS. THOSE ARE ALL POPULAR WITH THE OLDER KIDS. AND NOW SO YOU WERE SAYING THAT YOU NEED TOYS FOR OLDER KIDS. SO ELECTRONICS, THOSE ARE SOME GOOD THINGS. WHERE CAN PEOPLE TAKE THOSE TOYS? ANY ONE OF OUR 41 LOUISVILLE STOCKYARDS BRANCH LOCATIONS ANYWHERE IN THAT YOU CAN VIEW ON W-L-K-Y, YOU CAN DROP IT OFF AT ONE OF THOSE SPOTS. THAT’S EXCITING. THIS YEAR WE WANT TO BEAT THAT RECORD SO YOU CAN BRING THEM HERE, BUT ALSO YOU CAN BRING THESE TOYS TO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS, INCLUDING PERRYSTOWN. AND YOU CAN TAKE THEM TO THE LOUISVILLE AND JEFFERSON COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENTS AS WELL AS MISSION BARBECUE. SO LOTS OF OPPORTUNITY AND LOTS OF PLACES TO DROP THESE TOYS OFF FOR NOW.
