Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are watching The White Lotus just like the rest of us, apparently.
“We’re excited for the new season of The White Lotus,” Meghan told People just before season three of the hit show premiered on February 16, adding that she and her husband also “love Shrinking” and “just finished Black Doves.”
She also revealed that she and Harry take part in what they call “day dates,” where they share a quiet lunch together, and unwind with a drink and make lunchboxes for the next day in what she referred to as their “nightcap recaps.”
In their hometown of Montecito, California, the couple often have nights out, either just the two of them or with friends: “We go to a lot of dinners, and not just in people’s homes or private rooms; we just go into the restaurant,” Meghan said. “I really love that we can just have fun.”
She also detailed that she has “a couple of girlfriends up here”—referring to Montecito—though she said they’re “not in the public eye.” With these friends, they’ll occasionally have a girls’ night out or do Pilates together, she added.
Of stepping back into her lifestyle roots with her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan (which premieres March 4) and her lifestyle brand As Ever, it’s a callback to her blogging days with The Tig, which she opened in 2014 and shuttered in 2017 as the two prepared to announce their engagement.

“Well, I loved The Tig, but I certainly love my husband more,” Meghan said. “So that was a choice I made at the time, and I wouldn’t change that for a second.”
Harry loves that Meghan is returning to her roots, she told the outlet: “My husband met me when I had The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me,” Meghan said.
Friends have also noticed, too, she said, and “Their takeaway was they were so happy to see me as myself.”
“You have to imagine my friends’ experience through the past few years,” Meghan added. “They spend all this time with me at home and at their houses or out at dinners. For them to see who they know to be reflected onscreen, it brought them a lot of joy.”
