You may know that UNCSA covers confidential mental health support for faculty and
staff through the Ginger app. Well, Ginger is reintroducing itself with a new name:
Headspace Care.

If you already have the app, it’ll look a little different, but your experience will
stay exactly the same. You still have access to mental health coaching and clinical
services (if available to you) in the new Care tab, as well as a library of skill-building
tools and resources — so you can get the right support in the moments you need it
most.

Access the app

UNC School of the Arts provides mental healthcare through the Headspace Care app to
you and your dependents age 18 and older. Headspace Care offers on-demand, confidential
mental healthcare through coaching via text-based chats, skill-building resources,
and video-based therapy and psychiatry—all from the privacy of your smartphone. Headspace
Care is available in Spanish.
