‘The Book of Mormon’ takes stage at Providence Performing Arts Center

“The Book of Mormon” national tour is stopping by at Providence Performing Arts Center this week.

The show is playing at the Providence theater from Tuesday through Sunday, officials said.

Two cast members, Sam Nackman playing Elder Cunningham and Keke Nesbitt playing Nabulungi, are making their national tour debut.

“It’s such an interesting experience because the people you work with are the people you are living with,” Nackman said. “We get to see all these different exciting places, like Providence, and it’s just so fun to get to experience different places in the country with all these people.”

The musical comedy follows the story of two mismatched missionaries. Tickets and information about the Providence performance can be found on the PPAC website.
