There are rumors that Tom Cruise has spent millions of dollars on plastic surgery because he is “extremely interested” in Shakira.

A plastic surgeon told The Sun that the Mission: Impossible actor will not risk his image while courting the recently single Waka Waka hitmaker.

The doctor said the star’s younger appearance and defined jawline were the result of up to $50,000 worth of cosmetic procedures performed over the past few years.

“Through the years, it is possible that he may have spent up to $50,000 on cosmetic treatments,” Dr. Richard Westreich told the newspaper.

“Overall, I think Tom is just getting started with it all,” he said. “I think for most people, there’s an inflection point when the problem gets so bad that they decide they want to do something about it. Throughout the course of Tom’s life, he may have done a couple of minor cosmetic treatments. There’s the possibility of functional rhinoplasty, of laser skin, resurfacing, and perhaps even a little lipo under his chin. Now that Tom’s 60 years old, perhaps something finally got to him. It is possible that he may have spent up to $50,000 on cosmetic treatments.”

Cruise and Shakira were seen talking at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix last weekend, which made people think they might be dating.

A source, however, told US Weekly that the singer, who recently broke up with Gerard Pique, is not interested in courtship so soon after the split.
