Nexstar-Controlled CW Network Reveals Spring Series | Radio & Television Business Report


LOS ANGELES —The CW Network, controlled by Nexstar Media Group, has revealed its Spring 2025 premiere dates for new and returning programming. This includes the forthcoming dramatic series “Sherlock & Daughter” and two returning series.

Described as a “mystery thriller” series, “Sherlock & Daughter” premieres on April 16 in the 9pm Eastern/Pacific hour and stars David Thewlis.

At the same time, the series “Sullivan’s Crossing” returns for its third season on Wednesday, May 7. It will take the 8pm ET/PT time slot.

Lastly, family comedy “Children Ruin Everything” will resume its fourth and final season with back-to-back episodes on Wednesday, June 18, at 9pm Eastern/Pacific.

The CW will also air an hourlong special, “Remarkable Women,” on Sunday, April 20 at 9pm Eastern/Pacific. The show will feature women from 125 communities nationwide selected for their significant influence on public policy, social progress, and quality of life.

The CW says, “The special celebrates the often-overlooked stories of these incredible women’s innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit while championing the causes that inspire them and the direct impact they have on their local communities.”
