Second annual ‘Fashion Fusion’ fashion show next week helps local nonprofits

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) — The second annual “Fashion Fusion” fashion show is happening a week from now at El Conquistador Tucson.

The fashion show, which benefits five nonprofits in our area, is Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Eva Hendrix, the business development manager, said there will be more than 40 local vendors, which include local boutiques that will get to showcase their clothes.

You can also do your Christmas shopping and listen to music.

Hendrix is expecting between 250 and 400 people.

The show raised $5,000 last year, and organizers hope to double that number this year.

The funds collected will go to the Rotary Club of Oro Valley, which will distribute them to Reach for the Stars, The Book Heroes, The Rising Stars, We Care Tucson, Interfaith Community Service and Impact.

“I would tell you last year one of the things I heard from the ladies was that this was the most amazing event, it was just so much fun, are you doing it next year? Never did I think we’d say we’re going to have a second annual one,” Hendrix said.
