This spring, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey will bring “The Greatest Show On Earth” to both Boston and Worcester as they plan to dazzle audiences with “incredible feats that push the limits of human potential.”
The all-new reimagined show will feature 13 performances at the Agganis Arena in Boston in late March and early April 2024 and six performances at the DCU Center in Worcester in mid-April of next year, according to Feld Entertainment, owner of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, in a news release.
“The Greatest Show On Earth” stars performers Lauren Irving, Alex Stickels and Jan Damm as “Aria, Stix, and Nick Nack” who are the “soul, rhythm and funny bone of the show” and who guide the audience through the 360-degree interactive and immersive experience, Feld Entertainment said.
“The music-filled journey is bursting with catchy rhythms, beats, songs and laughter that will have audiences clapping, tapping, singing, and laughing along,” it added.

The Boston and Worcester stops are part of the North American tour for “The Greatest Show On Earth,” which will visit 60 cities across the country. The cast includes 75 performers hailing from 18 countries, Feld Entertainment noted.
During the show, the three guides also encounter “never-before-seen” stunts, acrobatic displays and comedic acts, Feld Entertainment said.

Stunts include “The Triangular Highwire” in which sixth-generation Mexican-Chilean circus artists “The Lopez Family” take on three 25-foot-tall wires connected to form a triangle while jumping over their partner’s shoulders and riding bicycles on the wire with performers on top doing handstands, Feld Entertainment noted.
Other stunts include a “Criss-Cross Trapeze” featuring nine performers soaring in all directions with increasingly daring and higher tricks and rotations as well as “The Ultimate Playground” featuring BMX riders, bicyclists and “an extreme unicycle” performing stunts on a trampoline box such as high-flying flips.
Performer Wesley Williams, the “One Wheel Wonder,” will also ride 10 different unicycles during the show, including one with six wheels stacked, an “accordion-style” unicycle that grows taller with each pedal rotation and one at an “astonishing” 34 feet in height, Feld Entertainment said.

Comedic acts in the show include guide Nick Nack and the “Equivokee trio” from Ukraine offering a blend of Rola Bola balancing, juggling, acrobatics, dancing and more, it added.
The show is set to close “with a bang,” according to Feld Entertainment, as performer Skyler Miser launches across the performance space at 65 mph, Feld Entertainment said.
Music featured in “The Greatest Show on Earth” will include original music, pop music covers and live rock-inspired drumming, the entertainment company added.
