At least ten Palestinians were killed Wednesday during an Israeli military raid in the occupied West Bank, according to officials. During the operation, which, according to the Israeli armed forces, was conducted to apprehend Palestinian gunmen located in the city of Nablus, Israeli soldiers and Palestinian organizations exchanged fire, injuring more than a hundred individuals. The Israeli military informed The New York Times that it is reviewing a video circulating on social media that purports to show two unarmed Palestinians being shot while fleeing gunfire. More than fifty Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank so far in 2023, making it the worst beginning of a year for Palestinians in the region in the past fifteen years.
