Crystal Williams, Noelle Rodriguez, and Arianna Davis, three of Lizzo’s former backup dancers, are suing the pop star for sexual harassment. They have strongly slammed Lizzo’s plans to file a countersuit, calling it a “insidious attempt at intimidation.”

In the case against Lizzo, she is accused of sexual and racial harassment as well as making the workplace dangerous.

The claimants say that the plus-size pop star made them go to degrading se* shows while she was on tour in Europe in February and March.

Lizzo has strongly denied these claims, which include that she put pressure on workers at an Amsterdam club to touch naked performers and that she shamed people about their weight.

Martin Singer, Lizzo’s lawyer, recently said that the singer would sue for malicious prosecution in response to the case.

Ron Zambrano, the lawyer for the three accused, said in a statement to the Daily Mail, “Lizzo’s threat to countersue for malicious prosecution is an insidious attempt at intimidation and delivers a chilling effect to all harassment victims in the workplace.”

“The scare tactics, bullying, and victim shaming coming from Lizzo’s team mirror the challenges employees often face in the entertainment industry, where they feel compelled to endure such behavior for access and success.”

In a statement, the lawyers say that Lizzo’s countersuit sends a bad message to other people who might be thinking about coming forward about their own situations, which could cause them more trauma.
