Weibo Ban BLACKPINK’s Lisa Following Crazy Horse’s Racy Paris Performance

Lisa’s Weibo account has apparently been deactivated following the outrage she received for her Crazy Horse Paris performance.

According to sources, the K-pop singer’s social media account on the Chinese application, @lalalalisa_m, was no longer searchable, and anyone looking for the account were routed to a message.

The warning went on to say: “This account is no longer viewable due to complaints that it violated laws, regulations and the related provisions of the ‘Weibo Community Convention’.”

While the nature of the complaints is unknown, it was reported that the singer had come under fire for participating in the concert, which is known for its risqué themes.

This, according to Chinese performing arts legislation, violates its prohibitions against promoting obscene work, and many of the singer’s fans believe she was banned as a result.

It is worth noting that the remaining BLACKPINK members’ Weibo accounts, Jisoo, Rose, and Jennie, were still operational.

It is unclear whether the suspension is permanent or temporary at this time.
