Everybody likes watching videos of adorable little puppies doing all the puppy things, but one of my favorites is when a puppy finds their voice. Ghost is a gorgeous gray wolf hybrid puppy who recently found his howl, and it’s the cutest thing you’ll see today!
You’ll definitely want to have your sound on when watching Ghost’s video. He has the most adorable howl and isn’t afraid to use it! This video is about 30 seconds of pure bliss!
Ghost looks so proud of himself and his big boy voice! After watching this video, I tried to howl at my dog, who just looked at me like I was crazy. I guess my Pit Bull mix doesn’t have the same howling gene as a wolf dog does!

Viewers all agreed that Ghost was a stunning looking pup. @carolkeeton917 swooned, “Oh my! That baby is gorgeous!” @Heather B agreed, “Omg he’s so cute!!! Those eyes!!” And @Katyuska Ruiz spoke for all of us when she said, “Omg I want him!!!”

Why Do Wolfdogs Howl So Much?
Howling is a major form of communication for most dogs, but certain breeds do howl much more than others. Take Huskies for instance – there’s nothing they like to do more than howl and ‘talk’ to their humans!
Wolfdogs (really dogs in general) howl for many reasons. Sometimes they do it to announce their territory and warn others to stay out of it. Other times, they howl to find others in their pack.

You might have heard canines howl in sync, almost like they are singing, which is a bonding experience for the pack and shows that they are happy. Howling is contagious, so if one starts up, the others will soon join in. It’s also something that pups learn how to do at a very young age, and they enjoy showing off their new skills!
Dogs also howl to get their owners’ attention or to make their voices heard if they feel like they’re not being ‘listened’ to. It’s amusing when dogs ‘argue’ with their humans to get their point across, but I’m glad my dog doesn’t do it!
