Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. at the Gellert Community Centre, Georgetown: Join the Halton Hills Public Library staff in exploring new themes each week through stories, rhymes, and songs. No registration is required.
AbbaMania
Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Acton branch: Get those dancing shoes on. AbbaMania – the tribute band that performed for the cast of Mamma Mia – is coming, with special guests Adele and Shania.
Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by the concert at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are required and cost $45 for the show, with dinner being an additional $25. They can be purchased at the Acton Legion or by calling Anne at 647-296-6719 or Angie at 416-721-9443.

GEMS Annual Bazaar
Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Acton: Enjoy a hot lunch while you shop from local vendors and the white elephant table, or try your luck at the raffle table. Games and small activities will be provided for kids, including cookie decorating, a grab barrel, and more.
Christmas Bazaar
Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Acton branch: It’s time to get into the holiday spirit and do some early Christmas shopping from local vendors. The bar will be open, and hot dogs will be available to purchase.
Erin Christmas Market
Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Erin Fairgrounds: Have your picture taken with Santa, visit an Alpaca, start your Christmas shopping, enjoy delicious food and more.
Diwali Celebration
Nov. 4 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Gellert Community Centre, Georgetown: There will be lots of activities for kids and adults, food, dancing, fashion shows, crafts and much more.

Glen Williams Remembrance Day Parade and Service
Nov. 5 from 10:45 a.m. to noon at the Glen Williams Cenotaph: The first local tribute this month to those who fought for our country takes place Sunday morning in the Glen. The cenotaph is located at the northeast corner of Main Street and Wildwood Road.
Georgetown Remembrance Day Parade and Service
Nov. 5 from 1:45 to 3:15 p.m. at Remembrance Park, James Street, Georgetown: Honouring the men and women who’ve served for Canada continues with a parade and service in Georgetown.
