Picture Kylie Jenner and you’re likely imagining the youngest Kardashian/Jenner wearing a skintight bodycon mini dress, most likely with a cut-out or see-through panel for added measure. While the odd sexy ensemble still makes an appearance on her social media feed–we’re still drooling over *that* Schiaparelli sequin gown she wore during Paris Fashion Week–the internet has noticed the mum-of-two and beauty mogul has recently entered a style era.

Consisting of minimal pieces and oversized silhouettes, Kylie’s new aesthetic isn’t dissimilar to the quiet luxury and stealth wealth trend, possessing a sophisticated elegance we’re not used to seeing on the 26-year-old. Her new look debuted earlier this year, around the same time rumors of a relationship with Timothée Chalamet first emerged.

Purely coincidence? Perhaps. But we’re not convinced after seeing Kylie’s latest ‘fit.

Attending the WSJ Magazine 2023 Innovator Awards in New York last night where her newly launched clothing brand, Khy, was being honored, Kylie stunned in a custom Ferragamo sleek strapless dress. Featuring a leather bustier with a hip cut-out layered over an espresso jersey skirt with a small train, black strappy heeled sandals and small gold earrings completed the look.

And NBD (read: VERY big deal) Timmy was spotted sitting right next to her at the event. In an equally minimal black suit with a black button down shirt, sans tie, if you were interested.

This isn’t the first time it’s been suggested a celebrity has changed her fashion style due to her romantic partner’s preferences. Kylie’s sister Kourtney Kardashian has adopted a goth-grunge vibe since she’s been with Travis Barker, matching his tattooed pop-punk identity. And Taylor Swift has faced the same accusation for *every* new relationship she’s entered into. Meanwhile, Hailey and Justin Bieber couldn’t dress more differently, their clashing couple style an often ridiculed hot topic of conversation.

Until we get an official couple confirmation from Kylie or Timmy, we’ll just have to keep speculating on the status of their relationship through their clothing.
