The late Jerry Springer is now forever memorialized in Cincinnati. The former Cincinnati mayor and TV talk show host is the subject of a mural in Over-the-Rhine, which is located on the outside of the Tender Mercies building. The art features an image of Springer backlit with splashes of bright, cheerful colors and is adorned with his iconic phrase, “Take care of yourself and each other.” Tender Mercies, a nonprofit organization that assists adults experiencing homelessness by providing housing and resources, was intentionally chosen as the home for the mural as Springer had been a supporter of the organization for over 25 years.
